Since 1956, True Holiness Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ has been a beacon of light in the local community of Houston, TX. In 1964 in obedience to God our Founders Elder Samuel and Mother Olivia Hall heeded the call to ministry. With the blessing of Bishop R.A Wauls, they laid the foundation of True Holiness Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ under the affiliation of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W). The small missions church held its services in the Chartress Apartments located in the Third Ward area of Houston. Under the leadership of Elder Hall True Holiness membership started to grow rapidly, necessitating the need to move from a small apartment to a venue on Houston and Washington Ave in downtown Houston

With increasing growth, an “impossible dream” came true. The church, by faith, moved to a bigger facility in the original area from the beginning years at Southmore and Elgin . In1971 Elder Hall found a piece of land on the Corner of Carmen and Jutland where the church currently resides. In 1987 our Pastor and Founder, Elder Samuel Hall transitioned from this world leaving Mother Hall the opportunity to carry the legacy of the ministry until her transition from this world in 1990. Not long after the passing of Mother Hall, Minister Keith E. Simpson Sr. along with his wife Evangelist Esther Simpson was appointed as the new Pastor of True Holiness Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Growing in grace and wisdom, being faithful and committed to God, Pastor Keith E Simpson Sr. was elevated to Elder and later elevated to District Elder to the State of Texas by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.

After pastoring 24 years of carrying the legacy of Pastor Samuel and Mother Olivia Hall  Pastor Keith E Simpson Sr. through the leading of the spirit passed the mantle to his oldest son Elder Keith E. Simpson Jr. On Sunday, March 12, 2014, Elder Keith E. Simpson Jr. with great joy, officially took upon his pastoral leadership of True Holiness Pentecostal Church. God has given Pastor Keith E. Simpson Jr. a global vision. Pastor Keith’s goal is not to just be a local community church, but to be the epicenter of Pentecost in the world!
